Nick Kingswell Secret Stockholm Show ft. Guy Sebastian

Last Wednesday Nick Kingswell, a friend of mine from back home in Sydney, was in town on a promo tour. Performing for No. 1 Australian artist, Guy Sebastian and helping promote the new album. They were only here for two nights, Wednesday being their last, so I managed to hook Nick up with an acoustic gig at my local haunt, Noels bar in Södermalm. Vanessa Lopez

A few weekends ago, we did a shoot with former Swedish Big Brother contestant, Vanessa Lopez. This particular shoot was a delight, for the simple reason that Vanessa was so much fun to work with. Joking around, not being afraid to be a little silly and just being down-to-earth. Fave Photographer of the Month Feb ’14

This month’s fave photographer is unlike our previous choices. However, it is a project which we believe is a MUST see for everyone. “Before They Pass Away” is a long-term project by Jimmy Nelson. He traveled the world for 3 years and spent 2 weeks living with over 30 of the most remote tribes in the worlds. Singer Songwriter Fredrik Lönngren

Last week we were asked to take a few shots for Swedish singer/songwriter, Fredrik Lönngren. He needed some new pics for his new website. It was also the first shoot we’ve done with straight-out-of-the-camera-jpgs using the Fuji XE-1. Snow was out and it was cold as hell so, we limited the outdoor stuff to a minimum. Started off by heading down to an abandoned railway tunnel in Skanstull, the entrance was boarded up but had a lot of colourful graff covering it. Last week was the annual Mercedes Benz Fashion Week here in Stockholm. For the two brothers behind the increasingly popular clothing label d.brand, this year was special … this year marked their very first inclusion into the Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Stockholm and their own show exhibiting the d.brand clothing line for autumn/winter 2014.
