Scheffau, Austria

Last week, we took a trip to Scheffau, Austria for a little ski / snowboarding getaway. Set in the alps and lying at the foot of the Wilder Kaiser, Scheffau is part of the biggest, inter-connected ski resort in the world. The best bang-for-your-buck they say. A beautiful backdrop, coupled with great weather, it was an awesome week carving up snow and of course some major stacks! We took a day off mid-week to capture some moments on and off the mountain. Last Wednesday Nick Kingswell, a friend of mine from back home in Sydney, was in town on a promo tour. Performing for No. 1 Australian artist, Guy Sebastian and helping promote the new album. They were only here for two nights, Wednesday being their last, so I managed to hook Nick up with an acoustic gig at my local haunt, Noels bar in Södermalm. 5 Years of Honesty

Last week we were asked to photo document the Honesty 5 Year Celebration. I must say that, this is one of the best parties I’ve been to here in Stockholm. Honesty is an advertising agency with their office located in Södermalm, an open plan warehouse which just wreaks of creativity, is probably the best backdrop for a night of Shenanigans and Tom-Foolery. Invite 400 other creative people and that’s a recipe for one helluva party. We stumbled upon this project, REFLECT, and it hit us straight in the heart. What it does, is capture real convicts in prison and has each of them write a letter to their younger selves. Ladies and Gentlemen this months fave photographer is… Trent Bell!
