They held the event / party at the Volvo showroom in Kungstragarden, Stockholm. We just captured some candid pics of the attendees and the good times. It’s always fun working with the dBrand guys, down-to-earth and all-round kool dudes. you’ve just been blogged by Ronnie D

Joel Sarakula http://36moments.photography/joel-sarakula/ http://36moments.photography/joel-sarakula/#respond Wed, 26 Nov 2014 08:00:22 +0000 http://36moments.photography/?p=9540 Yesterday one of our buddies was in town on tour, performing solo at a local Stockholm venue, Lilla Hotelbaren. Between his busy schedule touring all the Scandinavian countries, Joel stopped over for one show and we were lucky enough to follow him round for a few hours. Soundcheck, a little hotel room rehearsing, the performance and a bit of a post-show chill out. A little info about him … Joel Sarakula is a singer who writes and performs retro-pop songs on the piano and guitar. Born in Sydney, Australia, and now based in London, he released his debut UK album The […]

It was a busy night but we managed to capture a few candid moments here and there. Presenters practising, getting make-up done and of course some red-carpet action. you’ve just been blogged by Ronnie D

A Day With Julia Dansarie http://36moments.photography/day-julia-dansarie/ http://36moments.photography/day-julia-dansarie/#respond Tue, 15 Jul 2014 08:00:54 +0000 http://36moments.photography/?p=9311 CHECK OUT THE FULL 36MOMENTS OF JULIA HERE: JULIA DANSARIE The other week, we followed Stockholm photographer, Julia Dansarie, around for a day. We thought it would be an interesting story for those of you who are looking at pursuing photography as a full-time, freelance gig. Julia is one of the hardest working photographers in Stockholm, covering many events, nightlife, editorials and model shoots. Sometimes she has an event to cover and three nightclubs just in one night. On this particular day, we follow her from the morning. First, going to an editorial shoot and editing that. Then getting ready to go […]

Contemporary Reflections In Season Show 2014 http://36moments.photography/contemporary-reflections-season-show/ http://36moments.photography/contemporary-reflections-season-show/#respond Thu, 03 Jul 2014 15:07:02 +0000 http://36moments.photography/?p=9243 This spring we joined in on a fashion show by the Swedish brand Contemporary Reflections. Together with the store SOLO they turned the outdoor terrace Kåken into a Catwalk. A place usually packed as hell with clubkids together in a tight, smokey, electro and hiphop -vibe. This time more than ever the feeling that you’re never alone when out in Stockholm was delivered… The catwalk was marked on the floor trough the crowed on the terrace, and as the show was on, there was no jumping around what so ever. We basically had to stand within the marked lines to grab some shots, and I’m lucky that it even was possible take photos […]

Nick Kingswell Secret Stockholm Show ft. Guy Sebastian http://36moments.photography/nick-kingswell-guy-sebastian-secret-stockholm-show/ http://36moments.photography/nick-kingswell-guy-sebastian-secret-stockholm-show/#respond Fri, 13 Jun 2014 09:00:28 +0000 http://36moments.photography/?p=9143 Last Wednesday Nick Kingswell, a friend of mine from back home in Sydney, was in town on a promo tour. Performing for No. 1 Australian artist, Guy Sebastian and helping promote the new album. They were only here for two nights, Wednesday being their last, so I managed to hook Nick up with an acoustic gig at my local haunt, Noels bar in Södermalm. It turned out to be one of those nights for the history books. The funny thing is, Nick was the guitarist that used to fill in for me whenever I was away from Sydney or, the band. […]

Vanessa Lopez http://36moments.photography/vanessa-lopez/ http://36moments.photography/vanessa-lopez/#respond Fri, 21 Mar 2014 07:00:19 +0000 http://36moments.photography/?p=8725 A few weekends ago, we did a shoot with former Swedish Big Brother contestant, Vanessa Lopez. This particular shoot was a delight, for the simple reason that Vanessa was so much fun to work with. Joking around, not being afraid to be a little silly and just being down-to-earth. It’s kind of a photographers dream because you can really capture some natural, candid shots. you’ve just been blogged by Ronnie D

BECAUSE it’s teamwork http://36moments.photography/because-its-teamwork/ http://36moments.photography/because-its-teamwork/#respond Tue, 22 Oct 2013 22:42:50 +0000 http://36moments.photography/?p=7074   Why did I take this shot? Wandering the streets always produce photos with interesting stories. This one in particular caught my eye. A busy street, in the south of Stockholm, where people meet, shop and hurry to their next appointment. I look to my left and see this. Obviously the Husky is the first thing I noticed because I love Huskies but a split second later, this pose happened. I captured it because I thought it was quite funny … well, the story in my head was funny at the time. “Alright buddy, I don’t see her anywhere. You […]

BECAUSE he looked lonley http://36moments.photography/because-he-looked-lonley/ http://36moments.photography/because-he-looked-lonley/#respond Sun, 24 Mar 2013 23:33:44 +0000 http://36moments.photography/?p=6096 Why did I take this shot? I saw the story before I even clicked the shutter, that’s why. I love the empty chair and the fact that he’s on the phone, probably calling the very person who should be sitting in that empty chair. His eyes staring, almost unfocused, into the distance yet still in the direction of the empty chair … “How far away are you?”. The casual posture and the positioning of his legs and feet, kind of tell me he’s been waiting a while. Not to mention, I dig those boots. Taking this photo was bordering on […]
