Contemporary Reflections In Season Show 2014

This spring we joined in on a fashion show by the Swedish brand Contemporary Reflections. Together with the store SOLO they turned the outdoor terrace Kåken into a Catwalk. A place usually packed as hell with clubkids together in a tight, smokey, electro and hiphop -vibe. This time more than ever the feeling that you’re never alone when out in Stockholm was delivered… The catwalk was marked on the floor trough the crowed on the terrace, and as the show was on, there was no jumping around what so ever. Last Wednesday Nick Kingswell, a friend of mine from back home in Sydney, was in town on a promo tour. Performing for No. 1 Australian artist, Guy Sebastian and helping promote the new album. They were only here for two nights, Wednesday being their last, so I managed to hook Nick up with an acoustic gig at my local haunt, Noels bar in Södermalm. Why did I take this shot? Wandering the streets always produce photos with interesting stories. This one in particular caught my eye. Why did I take this shot? I saw the story before I even clicked the shutter, that’s why. I love the empty chair and the fact that he’s on the phone, probably calling the very person who should be sitting in that empty chair.
