I saw the story before I even clicked the shutter, that’s why. I love the empty chair and the fact that he’s on the phone, probably calling the very person who should be sitting in that empty chair. His eyes staring, almost unfocused, into the distance yet still in the direction of the empty chair … “How far away are you?”.
